President Maduro holds fruitful meetings for peace

The Venezuelan leader held three meetings this Friday in the framework of the nation's peace dialogue and the strengthening of diplomacy.
Venezuelan communications minister Jorge Rodríguez said Friday that the meeting held by President Nicolás Maduro with US Republican Senator Bob Corker and with the president of the Andean Development Corporation, Luis Carranza, was fruitful.

The meeting was held between both officials from the Miraflores Palace , in the capital city, within the framework of the peace dialogue in favor of guaranteeing peace and strengthening diplomacy.

During a press conference, Rodriguez said that the meeting with the president of the Andean Development Corporation, Luis Carranza , aimed to strengthen cooperation plans in economic and financial matters.

He also reaffirmed that the meeting with the US official was "very important", in the framework of the dialogue as indicated by the first line of action of the Venezuelan Government.

The meeting with the Republican senator arises after the expulsion to the charge d'affaires of the USA. in Caracas, Todd Robinson, and his political adviser, Brian Naranjo, for being accused of political, military and economic conspiracy against the South American nation.
